The BBC's Holby City website has added this new photo and a clip from next week's episode - Unsafe Haven part 2. Last night's episode can be viewed on iPlayer.

Luc is finding it difficult to communicate with Eddi, and ultimately he has to face up to the truth about their fractious relationship.

"At the moment, they're in a 'can’t live with, can't live without' place. Luc and Eddi seem to look forward to seeing each other at work but can't help but annoy one another once they're there – and that's certainly what happens this week."

Unconventional and supremely intelligent, this wanderlust-filled traveller has settled at Holby for now. A fiercely curious personality, Luc revels in medical minutiae and can spot diagnoses others might miss. His scant regard for hierarchy or politicking means he is more comfortable with those on the fringes of society. Luc’s ironic humour and Zen-like approach is often endearing although he rarely lets people get close.
