Welcome to a website dedicated to supporting Joseph Millson, the talented, versatile award winning British actor, who won 'Best Performance in a Play' at the 2017 UK Theatre Awards for his lead role in the RSC's The Rover, and a 2018 Take5 Theatre Award for for his two roles in Apologia at the Trafalgar Studios.

Joseph is currently on stage to great acclaim as Soames Forsyte at The Park Theatre, and will join the cast of The Merchant of Venice 1936 at the Trafalgar Studios from 28th December.

Recent feature films include Angel Has Fallen, Dragonheart Vengeance, Prancers Tale, and War Blade. Recent guest roles have included in Marvel's Moonknight, ITV's Van Der Valk, Chelsea Detective and Endeavour.

Another stage role has just been announced for Joseph Millson. In his current acclaimed role as Soames Forsyte, Joseph can be seen at the Park Theatre until December 7th 2024. From 28th December 2024 until 25th January 2025, Joseph joins the cast of The Merchant of Venice 1936, playing the role of Antonio to Tracy-Ann Oberman's Shylock. The play will initially run at the Trafalgar Studios, before embarking on a UK tour

The Forsyte Saga opened at the Finsbury Park Theatre on 11th October, with press night held on 19th Oct 2024. The reviews have been shared online, and they have been wonderful.

Fiona Hampton impresses as Irene, the young wife chafing at marriage to the wealthy solicitor Soames, played with calcified rage by Joseph Millson. His rape of her, which prompts the pivotal family schism, is rendered both shockingly and sparely. His menace is palpable, but so is the warped sense of honour that underwrites his sense of entitlement.
