Another stage role has just been announced for Joseph Millson. In his current acclaimed role as Soames Forsyte, Joseph can be seen at the Park Theatre until December 7th 2024. From 28th December 2024 until 25th January 2025, Joseph joins the cast of The Merchant of Venice 1936, playing the role of Antonio to Tracy-Ann Oberman's Shylock. The play will initially run at the Trafalgar Studios, before embarking on a UK tour. 

Fans will remember that Joseph and Tracy-Ann last appeared on stage together in Noises Off in 2023. Broadway World have included a brief interview with Tracy-Ann talking about Joseph's casting in The Merchant of Venice 1936.

Tracy-Ann Oberman said: “Having Joe join the cast of MOV36 as the merchant Antonio is the dream. He’s such a wonderful actor with a great Shakespearean pedigree and I’ve always admired his work. He’s not only a great friend but also an actor who I love being on stage with and I cannot wait to see what happens when my Shylock meets his Antonio in the East End of London, 1936.”
