Movieweb has shared the news that Magnolia Pictures have acquired the US rights to I Give It A Year following a great response at the SXSW festival in March.
Magnolia plans for a theatrical and VOD release in their Ultra VOD program later this year. Here's what Magnolia Pictures president Eamonn Bowles had to say in a statement.
"Dan Mazer is a terrific writer who has managed to both skewer and celebrate the romantic comedy genre and also deliver a gut-bustingly funny picture."
Great news for Joseph fans who wont get to see Macbeth at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre this summer, it was announced today that Macbeth will be filmed for a cinema and DVD release in 2014!
The Radio Times website has a lovely preview for next week's Radio 4 comedy Shooting Animals, in which Joseph plays Ben.
I hope this is a pilot rather than a one-off comedy. Humorist Guy Browning has co-written a spiky piece on celebrity ego and set it in the Serengeti, where a wildlife series is being filmed. It’s a delight.
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
By Guy Browning and Tom Mitchelson. A wildlife crew attempts to film a documentary about baboons with a presenter who has a phobia of animals and intends to keep as far away from them as possible. Comedy, starring Joseph Millson and Emily Joyce.
There is a Radio 4 web page for the show too, with further background to the cast and writers.
