The Sunday Telegraph carried an interview with Macbeth director Eve Best about the production, which begins previews on 22nd June, and also shared a photo of the cast in rehearsal. Apparently her production won't be dark and gloomy. The article can be read via ePaper.

The Cazalets: Casting Off from 1st July on Radio 4

The final book in The Cazalets series - Casting Off begins broadcast on BBC Radio 4 from Monday July 1st, daily 10.45 - 11 am. The BBC Media Centre has further details.  

'Casting Off' is the final book in The Cazalet novels by Elizabeth Jane Howard, which together give a vivid insight into the lives, hopes and loves of three generations during the Second World War and beyond. Set between the summer of 1945 and 1947, for the Cazalets the end of war brings peace but not necessarily the happiness they had imagined. With Rupert missing in France since Dunkirk, his beautiful young wife Zoe has had an affair with the American photographer Jack, who has subsequently killed himself.

The Dead 2 India to open FrightFest 2013

Total Film have reported that The Dead 2 India will open this year's FrightFest. 

The Dead 2: India, will kick off the horror festival. From the Ford brothers, Howard and Jon, the film is a sequel to The Dead, which was set in Africa.

On being selected to open the fest, the brothers said, “It's truly an honour to be the opening film – mind-blowing! Being at FrightFest for The Dead was such an incredible experience for us and one of the highlights of our whole journey with the film. It's an awesome event with a brilliant crowd and we both sincerely cannot wait to see you all there!”

The Ford Brothers, the British writing, directing, and producing team behind the acclaimed African-set zombie road movie The Dead, are in post-production with The Dead II: India - the first-ever international production of a zombie film shot in India.
