An interview with Joseph shared by Digital Spy confirms sadly that tonight's episode was his last one, he has left Holby City. Read the interview in full on the website.
Luc made his final appearance on the BBC medical drama this evening (January 8) as he vowed to go travelling, with hints that he was heading to India for a reunion with Eddi McKee (Sarah-Jane Potts).
Millson told Digital Spy today: "I enjoyed every moment of my time on Holby City. I believe it is a greatly underappreciated gem in the BBC's crown. Every single department excels, and at its best - tonight's 'Hanssen/Hemingway' episode for example - the writing and production are as good as ANY single dramas out there.
Joseph's interview on ITV's Lorraine this morning has been uploaded to You Tube. Holby City publicist Chris McCluskey shared this photo of Joseph prior to the interview. Don't forget to watch Holby tonight at 8pm!
Is everyone ready for the big return tomorrow night? To build the anticipation further, there is a lovely interview with Joseph on the Holby TV website, where he discusses all things Holby, Luc Hemingway and of course "Leddi"! It's a lovely long interview, so read the whole thing on the Holby TV site.
Why does Luc keep coming back for more?
I think he must have fallen in love, simple as that! Probably the only time in his life that he's ever felt like that so he doesn't recognise it. Shorthand is he's Dr Spock - he's a Vulcan. He's devoid of feelings, I suspect he would be on the social scale of Aspergic, he doesn't quite register empathy in the way most people do. He's very tunnel visioned. Dr Spock married with Sherlock Holmes!...
